Since ancient times there has been a partnership
between man & horse.  Unfortunately, in the world of racing there is about 40,000 registered foals a year & only about 4,000 will have any future on the track. 

The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation has forged a unique relationship with state correctional facilities.  In exchange for land use & labor, TRF will maintain a vocational training program for inmates.  Through compassion and respect, inmate & horse discover the power of two.  For many inmates, the relationship forged with a retired thoroughbred will be part of their rehabilitation into society.
